Dr. Christine Klody

Dr. Christine Klody, PT, DPT, MPT, CSCS earned both her Doctorate and her Masters Degree from Northwestern University School of Medicine's Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences Program, which has consistently been ranked one of the top physical therapy programs in the nation. She is passionate about sports medicine and has earned the well-respected CSCS (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist) designation.

Dr. Klody is the Founder of DPT Sport, a boutique physical therapy clinic and custom fitness design center, which is located in the Burr Ridge/Hinsdale area. She has been treating athletes both professional and recreational, with a particular interest in overhead athletes including softball and baseball as well as golfers, for close to 20 years. Her specialties include Sports Medicine/Sports Performance, Orthopedics, Pre- and Post-Surgical Rehab, Neuro, Wellness and Injury Prevention.

In addition to the 15 years of competitive softball that Dr. Klody played as an athlete herself, she was one of the first medical professionals who became OnBase University certified in both hitting and pitching, training with the top medical and sports performance baseball and softball experts in the country. In addition, she has earned her K-Vest 3-D Motion Analysis certification, which allows her to analyze any limiting factors inhibiting an athlete's ability to perform at their peak levels. She has taken over 200 continuing education seminars since she began practicing. She is also a Titlelist Performance Institute Certified Medical Professional and IASTM Certified.

Utilizing a whole-body evidence-based approach, Klody designs custom programs to address her clients and patients' specific deficits in order to help them achieve their maximal potential. Dr. Klody was a collegiate tennis player and now coaches youth softball and soccer. She is frequently asked to be a guest speaker at various educational institutions and in the community.
